Day 1: Trusting in God’s Power
God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.
Psalm 62:11 (KJV)
Reflection: As we journey through life, we sometimes forget the supreme power of God. This verse reminds us that our God is not just powerful; He is the source of all power. We serve a God who created the universe and maintains it by His might, and He is more than capable of handling whatever challenges we face.
Illustration: Just as the sun gives light to the earth, our God illuminates our paths with His power. The sun doesn’t fail to rise each morning, and so God never fails to extend His mighty hand in our lives.
Prayer: Dear God, thank You for Your immense power. Help us to trust You more, recognizing that nothing we face is too hard for You. Amen.
