Day 2: Having Faith in God’s Power
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Hebrews 11:1 (KJV)
Reflection: Faith is not a mere wish or dream; it is solid and tangible. It’s having confidence in the promises of God, even when our circumstances seem to contradict them. Just as Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego showed faith in God’s power, let us also trust in His promises, regardless of what we see.
Illustration: Faith is like driving through a dense fog with your headlights on. Even though the path is unclear, you keep moving forward, trusting that the road is still there.
Prayer: Lord, strengthen our faith in You. Remind us daily that You are faithful and Your promises are true. Amen.
