Day 4: The Potter’s Masterpiece
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 2:10 (KJV)
Reflection: Believe it or not, we’re God’s masterpiece, His pièce de résistance. Every detail, every aspect of us is intricately crafted by His hands. Crafted not just for beauty, but for purpose. We are here to do good works, to glorify Him.
Illustration: Take a moment, imagine a potter’s carefully crafted vase. It’s beautiful, sure, but it’s not just for show. It’s functional too. That’s what God intends for us – to reflect His beauty and serve a purpose in His kingdom.
Prayer: Father, remind us daily that we are Your workmanship, designed for good works. Help us to reflect Your love and grace in all we do. Amen.
