The Clay’s Imperfections – The Potter’s Hands | Day 2

The Clay’s Imperfections – The Potter’s Hands | Day 2

Day 2: The Clay’s Imperfections

Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

Psalm 51:10    (KJV)

Reflection: We’ve all got them, those rough patches, those flaws, those imperfections that mar our clay. And yet, it’s our Potter, our merciful God, who can, and does, create a clean heart within us. Despite the rough, marred patches of our lives, He brings forth something beautiful. It’s just like Him to work transformation right in the middle of our mess.

Illustration: Imagine a lump of clay, marked with spots and full of rough, unsmooth areas. Yet, the potter works on it, smoothing the roughness, turning imperfections into beauty. That’s God. He does the same with us, turning our mistakes, our flaws, into testimonies of His grace.

Prayer: Father, create in us a clean heart. Renew us daily. Use our imperfections, Lord, to display Your perfect grace. Amen.
