Day 5: Passing Through Unharmed

And the priests that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry ground in the midst of Jordan, and all the Israelites passed over on dry ground, until all the people were passed clean over Jordan.

Reflection: God fulfilled His promise to the Israelites, allowing them to cross the Jordan on dry ground. God’s promises are always fulfilled – He is reliable, unchanging, and unfailing. As we journey through life’s many rivers, let’s remember that God’s promises are our firm foundation.

Illustration: Imagine you’re driving on a road during a storm. Despite the heavy rain and wind, you continue to drive because you trust the vehicle and the engineer who designed it. That’s how it is with God – we can trust Him because He never fails.

Prayer: Father, thank You for Your promises that never fail. As we navigate life’s challenges, remind us of Your unfailing love and faithfulness. Help us to trust You more. Amen.
