Day 3: Armour of God: Our Divine Defence
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Ephesians 6:13 (KJV)
Reflection: The armour of God isn’t just for defense, it’s our spiritual offensive against the powers of darkness. Each piece, from the belt of truth to the sword of the Spirit, equips us to stand firm in faith. The armour reminds us that we are not defenseless, and in Christ, we have everything we need to resist and stand.
Illustration: Picture a soldier preparing for battle, suiting up in full armour. He wouldn’t dream of stepping onto the battlefield unprotected. So too must we put on our spiritual armour each day.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for equipping me with Your divine armour. Teach me to wear it daily, that I may stand firm against the wiles of the enemy. Amen.
