Day 3: A Leap of Faith
And it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests that bear the ark of the LORD, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of Jordan, that the waters of Jordan shall be cut off from the waters that come down from above; and they shall stand upon an heap.
Joshua 3:13 (KJV)
Reflection: The priests didn’t wait for the waters to part before they stepped into the river. They moved forward, fully trusting God’s promise. Similarly, our faith requires action. We’re called to step into the unknown, confident in the Lord’s unfailing promises and His perfect timing.
Illustration: Picture walking across a dark room towards a familiar door. You can’t see, but you know the door is there. That’s faith – walking towards God’s promise even when you can’t see the outcome.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, grant us the boldness to step out in faith, fully trusting in Your promises. Even in the face of the unknown, may our faith remain unshaken. Amen.
