Day 5: Be Still and Know
Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth

Reflection: In a world that demands constant movement and noise, the act of being still is profoundly counter-cultural. Yet it’s in this stillness that we come to a deeper understanding of who God is. Being still doesn’t mean doing nothing; it means creating space in our busy lives to recognize God’s sovereignty and majesty.
Illustration: Just as you might find a quiet corner in a bustling coffee shop to read a good book, find a quiet space in your day to be still and focus on God.
Prayer: Lord, in the stillness, help me to know you more deeply. Let this time fortify my spirit and enrich my relationship with you. In quietness and trust, let my strength be renewed. Amen.
