Day 5: Anchored in God’s Refuge
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Psalms 46:1 (KJV)
Reflect: God is not only with us in the storm, but He also provides refuge and strength. He is our sanctuary amidst the storms, a place of safety and rest. Reflect on times when God has been your refuge. How has He provided shelter amidst your personal storms?
Illustration: Think of a bird taking refuge in a tree during a storm. The tree provides shelter and protection from the elements. Similarly, God is our refuge, a sanctuary where we find protection, peace, and strength amidst life’s storms.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for being my refuge and strength. I am grateful that I can turn to You in times of need, knowing You provide a safe haven. Help me to seek Your shelter and draw strength from Your presence, especially in the midst of life’s storms. Amen.

I’m so blessed to know God is with me not only in times of trouble but, in times of happiness I also turn to him and thank him for being with me always.
