Day 2: Anchored by God’s Presence
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Matthew 28:20 (KJV)
Reflect: God’s abiding presence is one of His most comforting promises. He has promised to be with us “always, even unto the end of the world.” Reflect on how God’s presence has been a comfort and strength to you. How has His presence helped you navigate life’s storms?
Illustration: Imagine a child afraid of the dark. The presence of a parent holding their hand dispels the fear. God’s presence in our lives has the same effect. In the midst of our trials and tribulations, knowing that God is with us brings comfort and courage.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your constant presence in my life. Help me to remember that I am never alone, and that You are always there to comfort and guide me. Amen.
