The bitter circumstances he found himself in are a stark reminder of the detrimental effects of not waiting on God’s timing.
Illustration: Consider a person who decides to ignore the process of baking a cake and puts the batter in the oven without preheating it. The result will be a doughy, undercooked mess – far from the sweet treat they desired.
